The unrealized potential has many causes, but it begins with a lack of preparation, a lack of confidence, and a lack of business knowledge. And for young women from underserved communities, the problem is worse.

Girls With Impact’s leadership and business training program provides equal opportunity to those who would otherwise never get a chance to reach their potential.

  • You can create a Scholarship Fund to provide tuition for Girls With Impact’s foundational program to young women in a region of your choice.

  • Build a legacy of impact by making GWI a beneficiary of your will, life insurance policy, trust, securities, or honorary gifts, etc.

  • Donating appreciated stocks allows you to avoid capital gains tax on the sale, receive a charitable income deduction, and use the proceeds to support a charitable fund at your local community foundation.

  • To be eligible for a tax deduction in a specific year, stock donations must be received by Girls With Impact by the end of that year. It's recommended to start the transfer process as early as possible.

  • Yes, if you are 72 years old (or 70 ½ as of January 1, 2020) and don’t need your RMD for living expenses, you can make an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) to Girls With Impact and reduce your taxable income.
